Transparent Processes in your Production: Integration with xFIT!
Adaptive manufacturing is playing an increasingly important role for production companies. The flexibility to adapt production to market conditions, thus being able to react rapidly at any time, is a basic prerequisite of staying competitive. Adaptive manufacturing must be capable of a high level of integration and must use this basis to provide intelligent services. In this way, information and data from existing production and business systems can be consolidated on a single platform, and combined to create significant key performance indicators.
With xFIT (based on SAP MII), you can integrate diverse data sources–ERP, SCM, QS, or MES systems, for example–and analyze the data in real-time across all systems. The data is visualized through a web-based interface. Users can access data regardless of their location, for example via a portal view. xFIT works like a cockpit that enables a web-based overview of the entire production process in real-time. The xFIT package is comprised of xFIT Gateway, xOEE from our partner company Trebing & Himstedt (for OEE applications), and additional evaluations from the Adicom® Software Suite. When xFIT is used with the Adicom machine data and shop floor data collection modules, company headquarters, for example, is able to overview production at all international sites.

You benefit from:
• Actions supported by standardized and recognized indicators
• Quick reactions made possible through visualization and alarm generation
• Cumulating, location and factory-wide online overview
• Consolidation of heterogeneous system landscapes
• Focus on integration and data exchange in heterogeneous system landscapes
• Online visualization for greater transparency and faster reactions
• And much more...
General examples of potential applications:
• Supplementation of functionality in MES scenarios
• Visualization of calculated indicators
• Data collection: manually or via connected machine control system
• Support for traceability issues
• Integration of heterogeneous data
• Support for maintenance through early warning indicators (service portal)
